Uncle Shoe's Self Appointed, Completely Biased, Totally Ambiguous, Mostly Worthless, Absolutely Meaningless and Generally Full of Crap Beer Tasting Committee (Henceforth to be known as "THE COMMITTEE") |
P.C. PilsenerBy scrivener, Section Our Tastings
August 19th in the year of our Lord, may He bless the children, for my oldest daughter graced us with her presence for a tasting, 2004.
P.C. Pilsener,
(Webmaster's Note, ( The "P.C." in the name used to stand for Presisents Choice. It is now a generic name for a lot of different products and beer is one of them. ))
Devoid: 1/4 glass, fair. " Sweet taste, probably because it is made with corn as well as the usual ingredients. Refreshing in its own way but would probably be more enjoyable on a cool autumn day." Oldest Daughter: 1/2 glass, average. "Tastes like poop!! Mild taste, bad after-taste. Strong taste of alcohol. Would probably get you drunk fast!!" She dosen't drink beer often, preferring the fruffie drinks women seem to enjoy. She is however the mother of my grandson, 'Cole the younger'. Pun intended. Liam: 3/4 glass, ugh. "Dosen't really taste like beer! I'm trying to figure out what it does taste like - sherry? No, cheap sparkling wine." Well there it is folks, Liam finally gave a beer a bad review. Since I am fingering this some time later I do know that the world didn't end! (Webmaster's Note, ( The world may not have ended, but judging by my thermometer this morning, I would suspect that Hell froze over! )) Nemsis: 3/4 glass, ugh. (Scriveners note: Prepare thyselves ye poor folk, for the ramblings of a pickled mind!). "Surprisingly decent. For a cheap beer it has a fairly full flavour, possibly due to the corn in it. Won't go searching for it but will drink it if served. Ran out of decent beer so had to have a couple more. God this is awful stuff." So what is it already! Decent or awful? As Buddy would say: "Rave on". (Webmaster's Note, ( Seems perfectly obvious to me. After a hard day at work almost any beer is drinkable, but after the initial urgency has worn off I become a bit more choosy! )) Stay tuned for our next tasting of the day, or will the pickled ramblings continue and if so by whom? |
